I'm sitting here thinking of you all getting ready to meet up and looking forward to hearing all the news. So, I thought I would jot down what I would be doing if I was with you!
* Excuse me if I look at your feet first - at the moment I am desperate to know what shoes to wear. In particular, how you manage shoes with a smartish outfit. I would definitely be taking notes on footwaer!
* Then I would be trying to match log-in names to personalities! I should be able to manage to match photos to faces but I would probably have arrived without my glasses, as I have done twice at work this week. (Ended up reading 'The Tempest' at full arm's length with Picasso face!)
* Next I would be picking out voices. I feel like I would know your voices from your posts and want to check if I'm right.
Have a lovely day everyone, whatever you're doing xx Ailsa

Hi All
Yes have a good weekend all of you and I wish I had been able to join you and meet you in person. I have been thinking about you all day.
I am glad I am not the only one with shoe envy. I always wore heals and now I wear flat type trainers. Anything else is a definite no no. I have looked at different alternative flats but anything decent is so expensive (Hotter etc). Not sure what I am going to do during the Summer as sandals are not supportive enough.

Yep, we spent all the time gossiping about the people that weren't present Seriously, it was just really good to meet up again with people we'd met at previous events and to make new friends with people we felt we knew but had never met. From my point of view the conversation was more about 'walking stick envy' than shoes. For myself I can never wait to get into sandals, I find they're fairly open and allow my feet and ankles to swell as they want! I spent all winter - well, the times I left the house anyway - in flat boots and found I really suffered for it, so it's a relief that we've had lots of warm weather so I can get back into the sandals. Jean arranged the get-together brilliantly, and some of us are already talking about next year's event. Anthea x

Hi Ailsa, The weekend was the first time we had been and met everyone. It was lovely, we were included like best friends, it was really lovely to be part of such a warm caring group. I will definitely be there next year. It was a long journey but well worth it. My shoes were Fitflops I find them so comfortable, others were in sandal types, shoes or boots. We spent lots of time laughing and joking with one another, Jenni is a scream she is so funny and such a good laugh. She had everyone in stitches Jean and Jennies wheelies with the wheel chairs was TOP CLASS They are up for so much fun. Lyn was so kind to me when my dad was dying it was lovely to meet her in person too. All in all everyone was really friendly and kind, we all had a lovely time, it was great to put names to faces and have a laugh together. We should definitely do this more often, even try for different areas so everyone may be included. Hope all are well Lorna xx

Hi all :) Just to add my bit! It was indeed yet another excellent get together with much fun and hilarity throughout! It's always so lovely to meet up with folk but a shame so many were unable to join us on this occasion. Already thinking ahead to next year's venue and perhaps a slightly longer stay to make the journey less of a feature for those who have a fair distance to travel. On countdown ... no not the one on telly, silly Lyn x
